Virtual HTML Training: Relax, you CAN learn this skill!

I know the thought of learning how to apply HTML code to your web documents gives you the willies and makes you break out in a cold sweat. And, I know when you look at coding it looks like hieroglyphics.  I'm not too far off the mark, am I?

HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, is a basic skill which all web marketers and virtual assistants must know. And guess what? If you're checking out my website, you are a web marketer! If you use the web to promote your products and services, knowing the basics of HTML coding will serve you very well. Believe me when I tell you learning the basics is both easy and fun ..

Our HTML Webinars are for folks who need to learn the basics of HTML coding, such as Font and Color Changes, Line Breaks, E-mail Links and Hyperlinks, Graphics Links, Changing Font Attributes, and Lists, to name but a few of the items covered in DavisVA's HTML Webinars.

Below is the DavisVA Training schedule for our HTML Basics Webinars for July, August and September 2008. Each class includes:

  • GoToMeeting session, where you'll see everything I'm doing on my computer in real-time

  • Complimentary handouts, including a training manual and 6 practice exams

  • 2 hour training class and live conference call

  • Unlimited e-mail access to me for any follow-up questions you may have

  • 1 final exam at the end of the session, where you'll fix the coding errors and apply HTML code to specific text (using my instructions)

  • Complimentary and lifetime access to my Learning HTML Group, where you may ask questions and connect with fellow students

All this for only $49.99 ... an incredibly small price to pay to acquire a skill which can yield you hundreds or thousands of dollars during the course of your career. Give me 2 hours of your time and I'll give you this necessary technical skill which you'll use for life. Then, take the knowledge learned in this Webinar and set the foundation for learning more advanced coding.  To my fellow Virtual Assistants, stop turning away prospects who ask if you can apply some basic coding to their articles, blog posts, and Craig's List and Backpage ads.

Why choose DavisVA.com for my HTML Basics training?

Excellent question!   Numerous reasons:

  • I am your trainer and I get a kick out of sharing my knowledge and experience.  Do away with the notions of (1) HTML is difficult to learn and (2) I'll have too many stupid questions.  In response to number #1, I say phooey!  I taught my aunt this skill and if she can learn in her 70s, you can learn as well.  Regarding "stupid questions," well, there's no such thing, sweetheart.  I look at it this way:  I've got the knowledge you need.  You're seeking to acquire knowledge, therefore your questions aren't stupid.  Understand?  Good.  Carry on.  (While we're on the subject of "stupid," I want you wipe that word from your personal lexicon, right here, right now.  Nice job.  Thanks for making me smile today!)

  • Free and lifetime e-mail access to me to ask any follow up questions, have me review your code, etc.  With many of those other trainers, you've got to pay an additional fee for the privilege of speaking with them after your training is complete.  Whatever.  Next!

  • My webinars are fun and informative, and my teaching style is relaxed and engaging.

  • You can acquire this all important skill from the comfort of home, instead of dealing with high gas prices, traffic and the guy sitting next to you who forgot to brush his teeth that morning.  Your computer, your favorite chair, and your preferred lighting.  Don't forget a glass of your favorite beverage at your side!

  • I am a very effective trainer and I adore this part of what I do for a living.  I am a natural, and I want to ensure you receive the very best training.

In order to participate in any of our Webinars, you must have:

  • A PC computer (Macs work sometimes, sometimes they don't.   I make no guarantees!)

  • High-speed internet access (Sorry campers, dial-up won't cut it)

  • Telephone access (landline preferred, please)

  • Willingness to learn and an open mind. EVERYONE can be trained, so do not believe you can't be taught this basic skill.

After participating in our HTML Basics Webinar, you'll be armed and dangerous (in a good sense) and able to offer your clients yet another service. Imagine being able to handle blog administration and Craig's List and Backpage campaigns for your clients, as well as knowing you've just enhanced your skill set.

Don't be scared about learning to code.  I'll be your virtual hand-holder during the entire process and show you once and for all that there is absolutely no reason to fear these 4 little letters -- HTML! Plus, imagine how good you'll feel once you've acquired this skill set. You'll wonder what all the fuss was about AND you'll stop turning away clients!

Testimonials

I took the Craigslist class with high expectations as to what I would learn and every one of them was met. This was a very informative class and I’ve got my marketing strategy in place and work it according to what I’ve learned. I’m very happy and know that I’m going to see the results I’m looking for in my business as well!

I am VERY pleased with the Craig's List class. I had been struggling with promoting myself and my services and how to go about it. This class opened my eyes to "free" advertising. Your instructions were easy to understand and your attention to detail was amazing.

If you have the opportunity to take one or all of the HTML classes offered by Lori, do so. She took a very dry subject and presented it in an informative and entertaining fashion. In addition, she encouraged questions on the items that were being covered. Given the chance, I will definitely take the second and third HTML classes.

Lori Davis took my maze mindset and turned the experience into a piece of cake. The icing is her teaching skills. Her credentials dealing with Craig's List allowed for a program filled with experiences and high content. The handouts were filled with insider information. There was no fluff and no pitching, just pure information. I highly recommend Lori Davis as a person, and this course to anyone looking to participate in Craig's List.

Thank you very much for a fabulous class. Your sense of humor and step-by-step instructions made it so easy to learn something that seemed so complicated. HTML is not a scary word any longer.

I wasn't sure how helpful Lori's Craig's List class was going to be for my business. After all, there are other resources out there on the subject. But I was blown away with the information Lori shared. Now I know how valuable Craigslist - and Lori Davis, for that matter - is to any business. Both should be in your marketing arsenal if you want success.
