The baddest and coolest royalty free image site is iStockphoto.com. Hands down the best in the land. The best part of all is the pricing, which starts at just $1.00 per image. Hello! One-hundred pennies for a high-quality and royalty free image. Can it get any better? Of course it can, campers! Their Killer Customer Care is legendary, the search engine within the site is top-notch, and I love being able to share Light Boxes with clients and collaborators.
Another thing I dig about the site is the e-mail notifications I receive when my Credits are about to expire. It’s not just a day or week’s notice, but ongoing e-mail notices and reminders months prior to the expiration of any Credits I’ve got in my account. Very cool, very professional and Killer Sharks after my own heart. Last but certainly not least is their “Free Image of the Week.” That’s another “hello” to the 10th power! Ahhhhhhh, Free: One of my favorite 4-letter-words.
